The Corvette Stingray concept (aka, aka the Corvette Centennial Concept) combines multiple styling cues into a single conceptual package – greatly inspired by 1959 Stingray racer and the 1963 Corvette Stingray split-window coupe. The overall plan was to mould the past designs into a futuristic concept.

General Motors is looking forward to the 2009 Chicago Auto Show, where Stingray is set to debut along with the Chevy Beat Concept and Bumblebee – a Camaro-based Autobot. These are the most interesting concepts we’ve seen from GM in years, so it should be a great show.
