Ready for a new king of supercars? Details regarding Hennessey’s mind-blowing supercar concept have emerged. Looking like a Lotus Exige on steroids, the Venom GT concept has the goods to blow away even the Bugatti Veyron. It will be powered by a mid-mounted Hennessey V-8 that could produce up to 1200 hp, allowing the Venom GT a projected 0-60 mph sprint of 2.4 seconds. With a curb weight of just 2400 pounds, it is capable of reaching 200 mph in 14.3 seconds, and has a top speed of 272 mph. Stopping this beast from 200 mph in just 7 seconds are 14-inch carbon-ceramic brakes, along with the spoiler that acts as an air brake. There is still no information yet on the cost or production date.
